Ingredients
  • ½ (1 ½-2 lbs.) vacuum pack Crafted Creations Peppercorn Beef Half Tri-Tip
  • ½ round asiago focaccia bread, split in half horizontally
  • 2 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese slices
  • 4 slices regular or heirloom tomatoes
Balsamic Onions
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ teaspoon prepared balsamic glaze
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Experience charred hints of thyme, rosemary and oregano smoked around our flame-kissed Peppercorn Beef Half Tri-Tip, thinly sliced and nestled in between asiago crusted focaccia bread with heirloom tomatoes, balsamic glazed onions, fresh mozzarella cheese and basil.

  1. Prepare tri-tip according to package instructions, slice thinly.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add onion and sauté for 3-5 minutes. Stir in the glaze and season with salt, continue to heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. To assemble each sandwich, layer all ingredients between the focaccia bread, finishing with balsamic onions before putting sandwich top on. Grill the sandwich in a panini grill for 6 minutes or until heated throughout. Repeat with the other sandwich.
*Tip: For great café-grilled sandwiches without the panini grill, use a grill pan or skillet with a grill press or foil wrapped brick. Simply melt a dollop of butter in the pan and griddle the sandwich under the grill press or brick until heated throughout.
