Sparerib Appetizers

  • 2 packages Tyson® Crafted Creations Pork Sparerib Mini-Racks Smokehouse or Applewood
  • 1 large tomato, cored
  • 1 c prepared BBQ sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, charred
  • ⅛ oz fresh oregano leaves
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ c shredded parmesan cheese

Pork Mini-Racks separated into riblets and served as appetizers.

  • Preheat outdoor grill over high heat.
  • Place tomato over direct heat. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until charred. Rotate tomato for an all-over char. Reduce the heat on the grill to medium.
  • Place the tomato with remaining ingredients, minus the cheese, into a blender and pulse until well combined.
  • Cook ribs according to package instructions.
  • Once the ribs are finished, separate into individual bone-in riblets. Place pieces onto the grill and apply sauce with a spoon or basting brush. Rotate the riblets several times, applying the sauce every time you rotate. Crisp the riblets for 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve with any remaining sauce and finish with a topping of cheese.
