Ingredients
  • ½ (2lbs.) vacuum pack Crafted Creations Seasoned Pork for Fajitas
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 c thinly sliced yellow onions
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ⅛ tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 c water
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 c shredded queso fresco

Try Tyson® Crafted Creations® Fajita seasoned pork (or steak) along with caramelized onions, green bell peppers, Mexican queso fresco, and a light flour tortilla. Simply grill the perfectly seasoned pork and slice thin. Assemble all ingredients inside the flour tortilla and toast to perfection in a skillet.   1. Cook pork according to package instructions and thinly slice about ¼ inch thick.
  2. While cooking the meat, heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onions and peppers in the skillet and season with cumin, black pepper and cayenne pepper for about 5 minutes stirring often. Pour in the water and reduce heat to medium; cook for 15 minutes or until water has evaporated.
  3. Build quesadillas by evenly dividing the meat, vegetables and cheese on one half of each tortilla and fold the other half over the filling. Heat a clean skillet over medium-low heat and toast the quesadillas for 5-7 minutes on each side or until the cheese has melted.
