Orange Chicken With Brown Butter Pasta

  • 1 package Tyson® Crafted Creations® Orange Peel Chicken Thigh Strips
  • 4 oz angel hair pasta, broken into pieces
  • ¼ c unsalted butter
  • 1 c diced onion
  • 1 c diced butternut squash
  • ½ c sweet peas
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Simple, savory and elegant. Orange peel chicken thigh strips sautéed with green peas, butternut squash and served over angel hair pasta tossed in brown butter and fresh thyme.

  1. Begin by boiling water for the pasta. Once the water is at a strong boil cook the pasta for 8 minutes, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat butter in a large skillet until browning begins and cook the onion and squash until tender. This will be around 10-15 minutes. Stir in the peas and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet cook the chicken strips, covered, for about 10 minutes. Add the vegetables and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Toss in the pasta and thyme, finish with salt and pepper to your liking.
