Fusion Sirloin Sandwich

  • 1 package Tyson® Crafted Creations® Green Chili Fusion Pork Sirloin Filet
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 1/4 c butter, softened
  • 1/2 c shredded carrot
  • 1/2 c freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 c finely shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 c prepared slaw dressing
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Char-grilled pork sirloin thinly sliced and sandwiched between lightly toasted sourdough bread with sesame green onion slaw.

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium heat.
  2. Grill the pork for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Slice thin and keep warm.
  3. Butter the bread slices on one side, set aside.
  4. Combine carrot, cilantro, cabbage, dressing, sesame oil and seeds in a mixing bowl. Layer the pork and slaw mixture between two slices of buttered bread, with the butter side out.
  5. Toast the sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
